So I started Chemo every 2 weeks and am still doing chemo. Of course I had all the side effects, no appetite, indigestion, heartburn, nausea and neuropathy in my feet and hands. I also lost about 85 pounds. Then I started acupuncture and I have found relief. It has really helped me with the side effects. I have neuropathy but it has not gotten worse – I can still button my own clothes, put on jewelry, drive and clean the house. It helps improve my taste and appetite. I am not in any pain and the doctor is surprised that I can still continue handling the chemo. I know that coming to acupuncture does help me and I’ve been able to maintain a certain weight.
